Delete your data

You can delete an OldieGPT account, and everything in it, at any time. Here's how.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open Oldie.
2. Tap the small Family button with the lock, at the top.
3. Type the family PIN (or use Face ID or the phone's passcode).
4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete everything.
5. Tap Delete everything again to confirm.

It's done straight away.

By email

Can't open the app, or lost the phone? Emailprivacy@oldiegpt.com from the email address the account uses. If you signed in with Apple or Google, say which one. We'll check it's you, delete the account, and email back when it's done, within 30 days (usually much sooner).

Asking for someone who has died or can't manage their affairs? Email us with proof that you're their executor, attorney or guardian.

What gets deleted

• The account and how it signs in (Apple, Google or email).
• The “About Mum” details, including family, doctor and medicines.
• Every chat, and everything Oldie remembers.
• The family PIN, the list of phones and iPads, and any problem reports.
• Credits, including unused top-ups.

It also drops out of our backups within 30 days. Photos and files were never stored, so there's nothing to delete there.

Paying for a plan?

Deleting the account doesn't stop payments. Cancel the plan as well: on the iPhone, openSettings → your name → Subscriptions. If you bought it on our website, use the link in your receipt email, or ask us when you email.
