    Not sure about a letter or a text? She takes a photo, and Oldie reads it out and says what it wants.

  • Nothing renews

    In a year she decides whether to keep going. You get one reminder, and that's it.

How it arrives

  1. 1 Fill in the form and pay.
  2. 2 On the day, at about 7am her time, she gets an email from you, with your message.
  3. 3 She signs in with that email and the year starts by itself.

Your receipt has a card to print, with her code and a QR code, for under the tree or inside a Christmas card. Then set it up together on Christmas Day.

Common questions

What if she already uses Oldie?

The year goes onto her account when she signs in with the email you gave. If she already pays for Oldie through Apple, Oldie tells her how to cancel that one, so she isn't paying twice.

What if she signs in with a different email?

Her gift email and the printable card both have a code. In Oldie she taps Settings, then I have a gift, and types it in. Or she points her phone's camera at the QR code on the card.

Can I see what she asks?

No. It's her account. You won't see her questions, her answers or how much she uses it.

What happens after the year?

Nothing renews and nobody is charged. Oldie offers her a plan if she'd like to keep going, and you get one email asking if you'd like to give another year.

Can I send it today?

Yes. Pick today and it goes as soon as you've paid. Pick another day and it arrives at about 7am her time.

What does she need?

An iPhone, iPad, Android phone or computer with Chrome, Edge or Safari, and an email address or an Apple, Google or Facebook account to sign in with. No passwords.

Can I get a refund?

Email help@oldiegpt.com. Polar sends the money back to the card you paid with. If the year has already started, a refund stops it.
