Consumer health data

What health information Oldie collects, why, who gets it, and how to delete it. We never sell it.

Last updated 21 October 2026.

This is the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy of Watari Labs Pty Ltd (ABN 84 696 983 829), for Washington's My Health My Data Act and Nevada's consumer health data law (SB 370). It applies to everyone who uses Oldie. Our privacy policy covers everything else.

What we collect

  • Medicines, your doctor and your chemist, if you add them in Settings.
  • Health conditions or symptoms you mention in a chat or a phone call with Oldie.
  • Health questions you ask, and Oldie's answers.
  • A note when an answer warned about a health worry or an emergency.
  • Memory notes about your health that Oldie writes after a chat, like “Started a new blood pressure tablet”.

Where it comes from

From you: what you type, say or add in Settings. The health-worry notes and memory notes are written by Oldie's AI, from your chats.

Why we use it

Only to answer your questions and make the answers fit you (for example, knowing your medicines when you ask about a new one), to warn you in an emergency, and to fix a problem you report. Never for ads, and never to train AI.

Your consent

Before anything is saved, the setup screen tells you that health questions and health details are saved, and you agree. Adding medicines or a doctor is optional. You can take your consent back any time by deleting them in Settings, or by deleting everything.

Who gets it

Only these services, to do their part for us, under contract:

  • Cloudflare runs our server and stores it, encrypted.
  • OpenRouter passes it to the AI and keeps nothing.
  • The AI that writes the answers (Anthropic's Claude or OpenAI's GPT models), run by Anthropic, OpenAI, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure. They keep nothing and don't learn from it.
  • The memory-note AI (OpenAI's open model, gpt-oss), run by a hosting company that keeps nothing and doesn't learn from it.
  • OpenAI, during a phone call with Oldie. It may keep a call for up to 30 days to check for misuse, then deletes it.
  • Google, when an answer is read aloud. It gets the words of the answer and keeps nothing.

Full details are in who we share it with. Police or a court get it only if the law makes us.

We never sell your health data, and we don't share it with anyone else.

Your rights

  • Know whether we hold or share your health data, and see it: in Settings, tap Account and privacy, then Download a copy.
  • Get a list of every company that has had it, with how to contact them. Email us.
  • Delete it (see below).
  • Take back your consent (see above).
  • We won't treat you differently for using these rights.

Email privacy@oldiegpt.com from the account's email address. We answer within 30 days. If we say no, reply to ask us to look again (an appeal), and we'll answer within 45 days. If you're still not happy, you can complain to the Washington Attorney General at atg.wa.gov or the Nevada Attorney General at ag.nv.gov.

How to delete it

  • One thing: in Settings, remove a medicine or doctor, or delete a memory note.
  • Everything: in Settings, tap Delete everything. It's gone straight away, and from our backups within 30 days. Can't open the app? See how to delete your data.

The services above don't keep it, except OpenAI's call service, which deletes a call within 30 days.
